At Restored Memorials, we use a “Do No Harm” approach based on conservative monument-cleaning practices. Our methods are designed to safely address biological growth and staining while minimizing the risk of damage to the stone.
WE NEVER USE HIGH-PRESSURE WASHERS.
High-pressure washing can damage delicate stone surfaces, weathered areas, and inscriptions. We believe the safest approach is to let the cleaning solution and proper technique do the work—not excessive pressure.

Our cleaning solution continues working after application, gradually breaking down organic growth and staining. Depending on the stone’s condition, the type of buildup, and weather conditions, the full results may continue to develop over the following weeks.

Yes, we can repaint and restore faded lettering on granite markers to make them legible again.
We use a specialized paint specifically made for headstones and monument letter painting to ensure the longevity and durability against the surrounding environment.

Yes. In the unfortunate event that cleaning is required prior to a family member’s funeral or service, we make every reasonable effort to accommodate urgent requests. Availability is dependent on weather conditions and other factors, so we encourage you to contact us as soon as the need arises. We will do our best to assist during this difficult time.
After the work is done, you will receive an email with a link to pay with a credit card or we also except checks, Venmo, or cash. Your payment information is secure and we never share our customer’s information.
A sinking concrete foundations will need to be replaced by the cemetery or a monument provider. Our leveling process consists of raising the monument with specialized equipment , and installing a base of crushed limestone between the headstone and the ground.
